Francisco Torres Jr (Fran or Paco), passed away on April 22, 2024,

Francisco was born on October 29, 1975, to Maria Elena Reyes in Laredo Texas. Francisco is a 1994 graduate of South Garland High School and a lifelong resident of Dallas County.

Francisco was preceded in death by his mother Maria Elena Reyes Chapa and father Raul Chapa. He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Illiana Rodriguez Torres, his cherished daughters Sascha and Taber and loving son Daxton Torres, sisters Marla Chapa-De La Garza, Cristina Andrago, and Myrna Chapa along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Francisco was a devoted father and loving husband whose passion for family and helping others knew no bounds. With three cherished children, Sascha, Taber and Daxton, Paco took pride in providing unwavering support, capturing precious moments to share with the world. His adoration for his wife, Illiana, shone brightly in every word and he often posted, "How lucky am I that I get to be with her!"

Paco's heart overflowed with compassion, evident in his eagerness to aid fundraisers and alleviate hunger among children.

Paco enjoyed hunting, fishing, whiskey, driving corvettes and watching volleyball. If he wasn’t sitting courtside at a volleyball game, he was spending time with his family or enjoying some of his favorite activities.

He used his years of construction experience to start Serrot Builders Group. Mike Hatfield and Dustin Bailey were among many of the friends and family who were part of his journey in construction.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Monday, April 29 at 10 am at Lakepoint Church Firewheel, 1201 East Campbell Rd Garland TX. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation or volunteering at local food pantry honoring his belief that no child should go without food or the Alzheimer’s association in memory of his mother.
