Jane J. White of Frisco, Texas, passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on June 6, 1935, in Alva, Oklahoma, she departed this life after a short illness. Jane was a force of nature, a loyal friend, and a woman of profound strength who left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Jane was a woman of intellect and purpose. In 1955 she married the love of her life, Donald Dean White, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage until his passing in 1995. Together, they built a family rooted in faith, compassion, and perseverance. She supported her husband and children with a love that was constant and unwavering.
Jane graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and was a charter member of the Pi Beta Phi chapter. Her life was defined by active engagement and service. Jane contributed generously to her community and church. She served as an ordained Deacon at Grace Presbyterian Church, where she also led the Prayer Team and sang joyfully in the choir. A Paul Harris Fellow, she held leadership roles in numerous organizations including the National Assistance League, the Assistance League of the Victor Valley, and the High Desert Kiwanis Club. She was particularly proud of her work as President of the Assistance League of the Victor Valley, where she helped establish “Kids on the Block,” an educational puppet program teaching children about disabilities and social understanding.
Jane’s interests reflected her energetic and thoughtful spirit. She was an avid tennis player, an excellent bowler, and she crocheted caps and socks for infants in local hospitals. Every morning began with her crossword puzzle and a cup of coffee. Well-traveled, well read and
endlessly curious, she cherished exploring new places and cultures, yet she always found
her greatest joy in the company of family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Donald Dean White, brother, Jean Paul Jipp Jr, son Michael Dean White, and grandson Eric Michael White. She is survived by her daughters Christa White, Donna White, and Renita White; her sister-in-law, Nancy Jipp; nephews Mark Jipp and Tracey Saunders; granddaughters Stacey Wallen, Megan Horne, Megan Branson and Grandson, Tyler Branson-White.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church in Plano, Texas, on March 20, 2026, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband at Desert View Memorial Cemetery in Victorville, California.
“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
“Sleep in peace, God is awake.” – Victor Hugo
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who supported Jane throughout her life. In her memory, please consider a contribution to a ministry, youth program, or perform a random act of kindness. It is not the years in your life, but the life in your years.
God is in control.

Christa & Family - I am so very sorry for your loss. I was blessed to have known your parents & your Uncle Jean. (Jean was my husband's best friend & best man at our wedding.) During the last few years, Jane & I would talk at least once a week; conversations in which we shared lots of laughter & solved the world's problems. I will miss her a lot. May you be comforted knowing that Jane is now reunited with Dean, Mike & her grandson in our Lord's house. Her earthly presence may no longer be, but she will never be forgotten. In deepest sympathy, Jane (Anthis) Stephenson (Also known as "The Other Jane")
