Barbara Ann Wager
November 26 1933 - August 27 2026

Barbara went to be with our Lord on August 27, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Eleanor Ricci, and her brother, George Ricci, Jr.

Barbara is survived by: her three children Kathy Shalda, Ken Wajerski, and Kim Fischer; grandchildren Peter Shalda, Jeff Shalda, Mark Shalda, Michael Fischer, Jack Wajerski and Chris Wajerski as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Barbara was born in Chicago and stayed there until 2023 when she moved to the Dallas area.

Barbara always had a thirst for knowledge. After raising three children, she went back to school and got her college degree at the age of 50. 

She enjoyed a successful real estate career for over four decades.

Barbara had a strong belief in her Catholic faith.

Barbara was a very strong-willed person, and was very active in community activities. The memory care facility she lived in for the last three years nicknamed her the “gestapo” of her house. She will be missed !🙏
